Position Summary:

As a Senior Staff Accountant your primary areas of responsibility will be expense accounting, rent accounting, and management of the Company’s credit card process. Additional responsibilities include management balance sheet account reconciliations, journal entry preparation, financial review & insights, and ad hoc tasks as required to support the greater corporate accounting team. This role is integral in supporting the accuracy of accounting transactions across the GOLFTEC. The ideal candidate for this position is a professional individual with integrity, a positive team-focused attitude, a strong attention to detail, high-level organization, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rent Accounting (Related ASC 840 and ASC 842 journal entries)
• Complete management of the company card process
• Accurate recording of various expenses & expense management across the company
• Balance sheet account reconciliations and performing variance analysis
• Create general ledger journal entries
• Support the creation, development, and maintenance of SOP to help ensure that these procedures are followed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Outstanding attention to detail; highly organized
• Effectiveness of multitasking and prioritization to meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to take ownership in work quality
• Ability to adapt and build on processes for a growing company
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related discipline is preferred
• 2-3 years accounting or related experience - preferred
